Extract Coffee Roasters is a family run roastery based in Bristol. We specialize in specialty coffee and currently stock fourteen coffees from ten countries from around the world. A selection of these are Fairtrade / Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified. These are all available as single origins or as a selection of blends.
All our coffees are hand roasted in small batches, by our master roaster. A trait that is harder to find than you might expect!. We believe our artisan approach to roasting and blending delivers the best coffee.
All our speciality coffee beans are ethically sourced by our broker, Mercanta. Meaning a fair and ethical price has been paid for a quality product. Mercanta source and buy our green beans direct from the farmers producing them. This enables them to offer a higher price than Fairtrade and it means that all our coffees are fully traceable. Mercanta have a fully comprehensive “ethically traded” policy if you’d like to know more about the bean buying process visit their website: www.coffeehunter.com
Our Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and Organic beans are sourced and supplied by DR Wakefield. They have been importing and supplying coffee since the 1970's. Strong supporters of the coffee industry they were amoung the first to import Fairtrade, Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified coffees. Independant coffee importers they regularly visit farmers at origin. For further information you can visit their website:
